A11 Radio broadcast from Radio Severo

On Tuesday April 28 the IES SEVERO OCHOA broadcasted a live event on media (radio, television and Internet) in connection with various schools across Europe. The event had a selfless contributor, the telecom operator Aeromax who graciously provided logistical support.

This event consisted of the emission via internet streaming of audio and video signal broadcast through the website of the institute. In this issue the IES SEVERO OCHOA connected with other institutes in Europe to publicize the BLEND-IT project, a program funded by the European Union that promotes school partnerships. It is a strategic partnership that focusses on the exchange of best practices with five other institutions from Romania, Italy, Belgium, Austria and Portugal. In it, the ICT learning will be combined in the classroom, with the exchange of students from different schools. To promote this project IES SEVERO OCHOA broadcasted this event which was staged by students from the Spanish school (presentation, performances, emission ...) using exclusively English.

The event has begun at 12 am on Tuesday 28, and lasted an hour and a half. It was organized in the Hall of the Institute to be become a major study of radio and television. The program can be followed from the website http://www.ustream.tv/channel/radioseveroelche.
