Project meetings
There will be 6 meetings planed in the next 2 years:
-the 1st one is a transnational meeting in Portugal
-the 2nd one is a training course for staff from our institutions
-the 3th one is a Short-term exchange of groups of pupils+Accompanying staff in Italy
-the 4rd one is a Short-term exchange of groups of pupils +Accompanying staff hosted in Belgium
-the 5th one is a Short-term exchange of groups of pupils +Accompanying staff in Spain
-the 6th one is a transnational meeting in Romania
We have used this meeting for planning the whole project, dividing tasks, signing partnership agreements about communication, student accommodation or other agreements; to discuss how to accomplish the activities and tasks of the project, to discuss monitoring and evaluation of activities and reconfirm tasks for the next period.
During the third meeting different activities were planned: a seminar about student-centered teaching at the local university; a workshop called “teaching to teach”: teachers of the local school introduce the team to a blended learning approach, thirdly the flipped classroom and finally a work group for students: updating a blog with common lessons.
During this meeting we have shared experiences about different teaching-learning strategies in order to organize classroom activities and improve motivation, academic achievement, behavior and attendance. Working on cooperative learning and cross-curricular projects, workshops for students and teachers, service learning projects were organized.
During this meeting in Wien activities were organized in order to guarantee that all members of the team may use the most important moodle-tools and share experiences in a BL process while acquiring the tools. An overview/booklet with state of the art BL and how to implement experiences in different countries and schools will be one of our end products.
During this meeting workshops were organized about working together for a powerful parenting style at home, at school and in society with a lot of practical tips on how to create a learning environment where the students feel good. Also we have focused on the specific use of I-pads in different courses, working together to make a blog as part of BL.
During the last meeting a BL-symposium was organized at Brancusi University about BL, a lecture by an expert about differentiated teaching, a meeting about developing new solutions or adapting old solutions for reducing the rate of early drop out, a workshop about learning by doing and there will be an evaluation.
