The Science day in Emidio Navarro School
On November 9, the World Day of Science for Peace and Development was celebrated in our grouping (November 10). In the main part of the morning, were done at Emídio Navarro Secondary School, several activities related to Physics, Biology and Electronics, in which visiting students could participate actively. The classes involved in this dynamization were 11CT1 and 11CT3.
There was also an exhibition of works from the classes of Biology of the 12th year, with news about the latest discoveries in various scientific areas.
At the same time, a Science Fair was held at the Cova da Piedade Primary School. The activities carried out at this fair were planned according to the contents of the 1st cycle and organized by the students of 8º B and 9º A.
It was a very intense day, but also very enriching for the promoters and for the participants, where science and technology are the great protagonists!
Professors Teresa Lourenço and Manuela Teixeira were the driving force behind these celebrations, and were supported by Professors Ana Correia, Carla Vairinhos, Margarida Couto and Pedro Campos. Not forgetting, of course, the indispensable collaboration of the laboratories assistants Isabel Soeiro and Conceição Pereira.
