LTT 3: Innovative Curriculum and pedagogy in STEM disciplines

This activity will be held in September 2018 and It will last 5 days.

Within this activity, we will practically implement the newly developed curriculum for professional education of STEM educators. Educators will learn how to make connections between learning in mathematics and science with students’ lives and interests and they increase their capacity to build resilience through a pedagogy that flexibly responds to classroom situations. Also they will learn pedagogical principles that are emphasis support, feedback, challenge, development of autonomy, and consideration of values. These emphases are entirely compatible with the mainstream conceptions of mathematics and science pedagogies than is the case with other subject areas.
